東京の歌舞伎座で歌舞伎の隈取を施したねぶたの面が販売されることになり、青森ねぶたの魅力の発信につながるものと期待されている。ねぶたの面の販売は東京銀座の歌舞伎座が建て替えから1周年を迎えるのを記念して、施設を運営する「松竹」が企画した。「ねぶた面 歌舞伎隈取 和唐内」。ねぶた師の竹浪比呂央さんがねぶた作りの技を活かして制作した。縦42センチ･横32.5センチの津軽塗の台座に面が載っており、LED照明で浮かび上がる。価格は30万円で50点限定となっており、注文を受けてから制作するという。隈取を施したねぶたの面は歌舞伎座とJR東京駅の松竹歌舞伎屋本舗に実物を展示して、来月2日から予約を受け付ける。
