２０１８年の青森ねぶた祭についてです。実行委員会の会合が開かれ、観覧席の料金や今後の課題について話し合われました。６日に開かれた実行委員会の会合では、２０１７年に値上げした観覧席の料金を、２０１８年も個人・団体ともに１人３０００円で販売することが決まりました。販売目標数は５万３５００人と、２０１７年より５００人少なくなっていて、青森市役所新庁舎建設によって一部観覧席がなくなることや、運行のスケジュールから試算したということです。また、２０２０年の東京オリンピックで、警察官や警備員が派遣された場合、これまでの警備態勢が望めないという今後の検討課題も挙げられました。ねぶた祭は８月２日から７日まで開催されます。
