八甲田・十和田ゴールドラインがきょう開通し、青森駅では、十和田湖へ向かう１番バスの出発式が行なわれました。十和田湖へ向かう１番バスの出発式はきょう午前１１時から青森市の観光交流情報センター前で行われ、青森市の鹿内博市長など関係者がテープカットをしたあと、関係者と一般客を乗せたバスが十和田湖に向かいました。青森市と十和田湖を結ぶ八甲田・十和田ゴールドラインは天気に恵まれ、バスの乗客は、高いところでは７メートルもある真っ白な雪の回廊と青空の鮮やかなコントラストに見入っていました。青森市と十和田湖を往復する定期バスの運行は、今月２５日までは１日１往復ですが、本格的な春の観光シーズンを迎える２６日からは１日５往復運行されます。
東北を代表する６つの祭りが一堂に集結する東北六魂祭についてです。今年の青森ねぶたの題材は、「復興祈願不動明王」に決まりました。青森市役所では、今年の制作者、ねぶた師の穐元和生さんが鹿内市長を訪ね、今年の題材、「復興祈願不動明王」の下絵を披露しました。表情は厳しくても、内心では慈しむ心にあふれた不動明王に、復興を願う思いを託しています。ねぶたは、３月中旬から制作に取り掛かり、すでに骨組みが完成。５月２１日に山形市に搬出する予定です。東北六魂祭は５月２４、２５の２日間、山形市で開催されます。
