豪華トリオで歌謡界に新風！ 人気作曲家、弦哲也氏（６７）が音楽生活５０周年記念曲「犬吠埼～おれの故郷～」を１８日にテイチクから発売し、演歌歌手の五木ひろし（６６）、川中美幸（５９）と豪華コラボすることが９日、分かった。自ら歌唱も担当する同曲は、弦氏の音楽人生の集大成。今回、友人の五木が作曲を担当し、川中がＣＤの題字を手掛けた。弦氏は不慣れな作詞を担当し、「故郷・千葉県銚子市の犬吠埼灯台のように、多くの人に照らし支えてもらい、今の私がある。その感謝の思いを込めた」と熱く語った。戦友のためにひと肌脱いだ五木は「私も歌手生活５０年。男の友情で完成した」と感慨深げ。川中も「書道の先生に習って書きました」と納得の笑みを浮かべた。
１９日放送のテレビ東京系「木曜８時のコンサート」（木曜後７・５８）で同曲を初披露する。
カップリングの１曲「我、未（いま）だ旅の途中」は一人息子の音楽家、田村武也氏（４３）が作詞し、作曲は自身が担当。メジャーでは初の親子合作となる。弦氏は歌手としてデビューしたが、演歌界の大先輩、北島三郎（７８）から「君は作曲の方が向いている」と助言され１９７６年に作曲家に転身した。
