イタリアのミラノで開かれている国際博覧会で東日本大震災からの復興に取り組む東北各県の祭りが披露された。青森ねぶたも出陣し、東北の元気を世界に発信した。東北6県の祭りは日本の文化を紹介するミラノ万博のジャパンデーの呼び物として披露された。秋田の竿灯や福島わらじまつりなどとともに青森ねぶたも参加し、ねぶた師の北村隆さんが制作した中型ねぶた「日天 水天」が出陣した。太陽と地球を表現した「日天 水天」はより良い地球環境や争いのない平和な世界への願いが込められている。幅6メートル、高さ4.5メートルのねぶたは笛や太鼓のねぶた囃子が鳴り響くなか勇壮に練り歩き、集まった人たちから歓声があがった。ねぶたの近くではハネトたちが「ラッセラー」の掛け声とともに乱舞し、東北の元気を世界に発信した。
The festival of each Tohoku prefecture that wrestled for revival from the Great East Japan Earthquake at an international exhibition held in Milan, Italy was shown. Aomori Nebuta took the field and sent northeastern spirit to the world. The festival of six prefectures of Tohoku was shown as an attraction of the Japan day of the Milan World Exposition that introduced Japanese culture. I participated in Aomori Nebuta with street lamp and Fukushima straw sandal Festival of Akita, and medium-sized Nebuta "sun-god guardian deity of mariners" whom Takashi Kitamura of the Rev. Nebuta produced went to the front. As for "the sun-god guardian deity of mariners who expressed the sun and the earth," a wish to the peaceful world without the better global environment and fight is put. It was heroic, and 6 meters in width, Nebuta of 4.5 meters in height paraded while the Nebuta musical accompaniment of a flute and the drum resounded, and a shout of joy broke out from people who gathered. ハネト danced boisterously with a shout of "ラッセラー" near Nebuta and sent northeastern spirit to the world.
