青森市では津軽地方各地のねぶたやねぷたの囃子を一度に楽しめるイベントが開かれました。「アートでオン！冬のねぶた音楽祭」には青森ねぶたまつりの他、弘前市、つがる市、平川市、五所川原市、黒石市の６つのねぶたやねぷた祭りの囃子方が参加し、それぞれの囃子を披露しました。地域によって囃子のリズムはもちろん、掛け声なども異なり、訪れた人たちは特色ある地域ごとの音色を楽しんでいました。「アートでオン！冬のねぶた音楽祭」は同時に聞くことができない各地域の囃子を聴いてもらおうと、市の協力団体「アートでオン！」が初めて開きました
