青森市安方のねぶた団地「ラッセランド」で、「NTTグループねぶた」が昨年から行っている夜の見学会「Night Nebuta」が今年も好評だ。力強く輝く制作途中のねぶたを間近に見ることができ、16日も80人を超す見学者たちの目を楽しませた。NTTグループによる同見学会は昨夏、ねぶた師北村春一さん（36）と親交のあった同市の自営業田畑洵さん（32）が、制作過程にあるねぶたの夜の姿に魅せられて提案したのをきっかけに始まった。午後7時ごろから約30分間、制作小屋を開放し、誰でも無料で見ることができる。今年は今月中、週1回程度の開催を予定している。16日、北村さんの合図で見学に訪れた子どもたちがスイッチを入れると、女性題材のねぶた「妖術師 滝夜叉姫（たきやしゃひめ）」に明かりがともり、市民らは歓声を上げ、写真を撮っていた。2年連続で両親と見に来た市内の小学4年生清藤佑真（ゆうま）君（9）は「先週は真っ白だったけど今日は顔が描かれていて勇ましく感じた。きれい」。群馬県から旅行で訪れた花岡登さん（61）は「制作段階の点灯が見られると思わなかったからうれしい。こういう機会をもっと増やしてほしい」とほほ笑み、妻の京子さん（61）と記念撮影を楽しんでいた。北村さんは「これからを担う子どもたちにねぶたに触れる機会を与えることで興味を持ってもらいたい」と語った。
