新町通りや昭和通りなどで「AOMORI春フェスティバル」が開催されます。華やかなオープニングパレードに始まり、よさこい、ベリーダンス、ねぶた囃子体験など、青森の街中のあちこちが踊り一色となります。※交通規制があります。

津軽三味線は、本来、曲弾き演奏だけでなく唄づけ伴奏も含んだ音楽であることから、「津軽三味線日本一決定戦」では、「唄づけ伴奏」と「曲弾き演奏」の両部門を審査して、日本一を決める大会となっています。そこに至る登龍門として初日はA級、B級、C級など各部門を設けて審査するほか、2日目はジュニアの部、団体の部、日本一の部が審査されます。日本一決定後、披露大会である「津軽文化の夕べ」が開催されます。
