日本の火祭り「青森ねぶた祭」は毎年8月2日～7日の日程で開催され、３３０万人を超える人出を数えます。
青森ねぶた祭は、20数台の大型ねぶたが出陣し、約3.1kmのコースを2日～6日は夜、最終日の7日は昼に運行されます。
正装衣装を着ていれば、誰でも参加することが出来ます。
昭和55年、国の「重要無形民俗文化財」に指定されました。
【ねぶたの起源】
七夕様の灯籠流しの変形であろうと言われてますが、その起源は定かではありません。
‘猯瓢紊肪羚颪ら入った七夕祭りと、古来から北国青森にある習俗と精霊送り、人形送り、虫送り等の行事と一緒になり、紙と竹、ろうそくが普及されると灯籠となり、それが変化して扇ねぶた・人形ねぶたとなったと考えられています。
◆屬佑屬拭廚箸いμ松里蓮東北地方を始め、信越地方「ネンブリ流し」、関東地方「ネブチ流し」等の民族語彙分布と言語学から「ねむりながし」の眠りが「ねぶた」に転訛したものと考えられています。
【ねぶたについて】

1台約2,000万円と言われ、そのうちねぶた師の報酬は400～500万円でその大半を材料費・人件費(電気関係・紙貼り等)に費やします。

約3ヶ月

500～1,000人くらい、多い時には2,000人以上になります。

Fire Festival "Aomori Nebuta Festival" of Japan is held every year in the schedule of from 2 to 7 on August and counts the crowd more than 3,300,000.

青森ねぶたがことし8月、8年ぶりにアメリカのロサンゼルスで運行されることになった。これは青森観光コンベンション協会やねぶたの運行団体協議会などで作る「青森ねぶたロサンゼルス公演実行委員会」の設立総会で正式に決まった。それによるとねぶたの運行はロサンゼルスの県人会の要請に応えて行われるもので、ことし8月16日現地の「リトルトーキョー」で開かれる祭りに参加する。ロサンゼルスでの運行は2007年以来、8年ぶり2回目。今回はねぶた師の竹浪比呂央さんが制作する中型ねぶたが出陣する。制作されるのは「津軽海峡 義経渡海」で、源義経が津軽半島から北海道に渡ったとされる伝説が題材。運行される青森ねぶたは来月、竹浪さんが現地を訪れ制作する。
