雪と氷に覆われる神秘的な冬の十和田湖では、十和田湖のシンボルともいえる乙女の像が闇に浮かび上がります。また、周辺の散策路も雪明かりでほんのりと照らされ幻想的です。イベントでは「雪月花」テーマとした冬花火とライトショーが行われるほか、郷土芸能や郷土料理、かまくら内でお酒も楽しめます。

八戸地方を代表する民俗芸能で、国の重要無形民俗文化財に指定されており、青森冬の三大まつり、みちのく五大雪まつりに数えられています。えんぶりは、その年の豊作を祈願するための舞で、太夫と呼ばれる舞手が馬の頭を象った華やかな烏帽子を被り、頭を大きく振る独特の舞が大きな特徴です。その舞は、稲作の一連の動作である、種まきや田植えなどの動作を表現したものです。また、えんぶり摺りの合間の子供達による可愛らしい祝福芸も、見る者を楽しませてくれます。

In mysterious winter Lake Towada covered by snow and ice, the image of the young girl who can say the symbol of Lake Towada rises in darkness. In addition, the neighboring walks road is lighted up with snow light slightly, too and is fantastic. The "beauties of nature" winter fireworks and light show which I featured the theme of are performed by the event and can enjoy the liquor in folk art and local cooking, Kamakura.

By folk entertainment on behalf of Hachinohe district, I am appointed in the important formlessness folk cultural assets of the country and am counted for three major festivals of the Aomori winter, Michinoku five components snow festival.
