青い森鉄道は6月から9月にかけ、沿線の農家や商店の人たちが乗り込んで地元食材などを販売する「産直列車」を運行する。青森県が企画した体験ツアー「あおてつマルシェ」の一環として運行するもので、2014年度に続く開催。定期列車の一部を貸し切り、車内で産直品の販売を行う。
ツアーは6月21日、7月28日、8月17日、9月27日の計4回行われる。6月21日は、種差の地元グルメを味わう「あおてつマルシェに乗って種差マルシェツアー」として実施。野辺地駅に8時55分集合し、青い森鉄道線やJR八戸線を利用して種差海岸駅まで移動する。このうち野辺地9時17分発～八戸10時01分着の普通列車内で産直品の車内販売が行われる。
7月28日は、温泉巡りとスイーツを楽しむ「あさむし女子旅・男子旅ツアー」として実施。青森駅に10時10分集合し、青森～浅虫温泉間を青い森鉄道線の普通列車で往復する。産直品の車内販売は、浅虫温泉14時51分発～青森15時14分着の普通列車内で行われる。
8月17日の「夏休み自由研究もバッチリ！親子で探検隊ツアー」は9時20分、青森駅に集合。同駅を9時40分に発車する列車で車両基地を訪ね、基地内を見学する。その後、青森駅に戻って青森11時45分発～乙供12時57分着の普通列車に乗り、車内で産直品の販売が行われる。
9月27日は「小山さんちの畑で野菜収穫と畑レストランツアー」として実施。八戸駅に10時50分集合して目時駅に向かい、同駅の近くにある「小山さんの畑」でキャベツなどの収穫を体験する。産直品の車内販売は目時14時32分発～八戸14時59分着の普通列車で行われる。
参加料金は8月17日が親子（大人一人・子供一人）3000円、それ以外は一人1000円。乗車券代や車内販売の産直品購入代は参加料金に含まれておらず、参加に際しては別途乗車券やフリー切符などを購入する必要がある。申込み用紙は青い森鉄道ウェブサイトで公開されており、ファクスまたは電子メールで受け付けている。
