イタリア・ミラノで開かれているミラノ万博に出陣する青森ねぶたの関係者の一行が、けさ青森空港から出発しました。ミラノ万博には、世界１３９の国や地域などが出展していて、青森ねぶたは今月１１日からの日本の文化などを紹介するジャパンデーに出陣します。運行されるのは、ねぶた名人の北村隆さんが制作した中型ねぶたで、ことし５月に青森を出発して現地で組み立て作業が進められています。きょうは、青森市の鹿内博市長をはじめ、ねぶたの運行関係者など一行３１人が青森空港から出発しました。青森ねぶたは、東北復興祭りパレードの中で秋田県の竿燈まつりや福島わらじまつりなどとともに出陣して、ミラノの街を練り歩きます。
