京都・南座「松竹新喜劇 葉月爆笑公演」が１７日に開幕した。歌手・五木ひろし（６７）が、親交の深かった故・藤山寛美さんへの恩返しを込めて特別出演。一幕目「駕籠（かご）や捕物帳」では寛美さんの孫・藤山扇治郎（２８）との掛け合いで爆笑をさらった。三幕目のライブでは「いつも思い出の中には寛美さんがいます」と、寛美さん７回忌に制作した「粋な男（ひと）」を熱唱。２６日発売の新曲「夕陽燦燦（さんさん）」も披露した。また、五木は二幕目の芝居「しぶちん」への出演を熱望。「通行人役を一度やってみたかった」と、２５日の千秋楽までに実現するよう座長の渋谷天外（６０）に直談判していた。
