来月の「青森ねぶた祭」を前に、青森市内では祭りを見る人のための桟敷席を設営する作業が進められています。「青森ねぶた祭」では、ねぶたが運行されるおよそ３キロのコース沿いに有料の桟敷席といす席があわせて９０か所、およそ６万２０００人分設けられることになっています。
来月２日の祭りの開幕に向けて、今、設営作業が進んでいて、このうち、およそ３９０人分の桟敷席が設けられる青森市役所の駐車場では、８人の作業員が組み立てた鉄パイプの上に木の板を敷いたり、出入りするためのスロープを作ったりする作業に追われていました。
青森観光コンベンション協会によりますと、有料の桟敷席やイス席は１０日の時点で８０％以上の予約が入っていて、ほぼ例年並みだということです。作業にあたっている建設会社の張山由道工事課長は「観光客が安全に安心して祭りを楽しめるよう、設置を進めていきたい」と話していました。
「青森ねぶた祭」は来月２日から７日まで行われます。
